Step-by-Step: Connect Icemail Mailboxes to Expandi
Step 1:
Go to your Mailbox Dashboard in Icemail and select the mailboxes you want to use with Expandi.
Step 2:
Click "Export Mailboxes" and collect the credentials: email address, SMTP host, SMTP port, IMAP host, IMAP port, and password.
Step 3:
Log in to your Expandi account (expandi.io) and navigate to Settings → Email Accounts or Campaign Settings → Add Email.
Step 4:
Click "Add Email Account" and select "Custom SMTP / IMAP."
Step 5:
Enter your Icemail credentials:
Email Address: your Icemail mailbox address
SMTP Host:
smtp.gmail.com(Google) orsmtp.office365.com(Microsoft)SMTP Port:
587(TLS)IMAP Host:
imap.gmail.com(Google) oroutlook.office365.com(Microsoft)IMAP Port:
993Password: your mailbox password (use an App Password for Google if 2FA is enabled)
Step 6:
Click "Save" or "Test Connection." Expandi will verify the SMTP/IMAP settings.
Step 7:
Once connected, assign the mailbox to your Expandi email campaigns and configure a daily sending limit of 15 cold emails per mailbox.
Tip: For Google Workspace mailboxes, generate an App Password from your Google Account → Security → 2-Step Verification → App Passwords and use that as the password in Expandi.
